What this site is
Pool Repair Brentwood is a free referral service for pool repair and equipment in Brentwood and the surrounding East Contra Costa communities. We are not a contractor and don't do pool work ourselves. When you call or send a request, we pass it to an independent local pool contractor who serves your area.
The contractor gives you the quote, sets the price, schedules the work, and is responsible for the job. You deal with them directly, and you're never obligated to hire anyone. If you want ongoing service after a repair, ask the contractor; it may be available from them.
Why this site exists
When a pump stops, a pool heater won't fire, or the water level keeps dropping, most people want to know three things: what's actually wrong, roughly what it will cost, and who can come out. The pages here try to answer the first two honestly, with published cost ranges and the sources named, and plain explanations of California rules like the variable-speed pump requirement. The phone number and form handle the third.
What this site covers, and what it doesn't
This site is for repairs and equipment: leaks, pumps, pool heaters and heat pumps, filters, resurfacing, tile, lights, and pre-sale inspections. It isn't a weekly cleaning or maintenance service.

- Ask for the contractor's CSLB license number and look it up at cslb.ca.gov. Swimming pool contractors are generally licensed under the C-53 classification.
- Get the quote in writing, with the parts and the make and model of any new equipment.
- Don't pay large sums up front.
- For gas or electrical work on a pool heater or light, make sure the person doing it is qualified for that work.
